Meet Dr. Michael Nason (Jacksonville, FL)

Michael S. Nason, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1992. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Franklin & Marshall College in 1987.

Dr. Nason is an experienced optometrist who has been in practice since 1996. He completed a residency in ocular disease and post-surgical care and later served as head optometrist at Miami Eye Center. He went on to open and manage multiple practices in the West Palm Beach area before relocating to the Jacksonville area in 2021.

He is focused on comprehensive eye care and is experienced in specialty contact lens fittings and the management of glaucoma. Dr. Nason has also participated in numerous international and domestic mission trips, providing eye care to underserved communities.

Dr. Nason is an active member of several professional organizations and previously served as President of the Palm Beach County Optometric Association. Outside of the office, he enjoys attending concerts, biking, and traveling with his wife to visit their children.
